Introduction

As per the decision of the Provincial Government and Council of Ministers dated 2076/07/18, this division office has been established under the Directorate of Education and Social Development of the Ministry of Social Development for the operation and implementation of the programs to be run at the district and local level in the areas of education, labor and employment, youth and sports, science and technology and social development. The office of the Social Development Division was formally inaugurated on December 10, 2019 by the Honorable Minister of Social Development Sudarshan Baral and is operating in a building of Education Training Center, Rupandehi. The jurisdiction of this division office is Rupandehi and Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta West).
